Sweater made of Dreams

Have you ever had a dream that you might not remember but you wake up with a smile, that you want to go back to sleep so you can feel that same thing? I had them and yes I’m talking about about dreams becaus I’m wearing dreams on my sleeve, literally!. 

  I got this awesome sweater top at an H&M sale for like 7dls I think and I couldn’t be more happy with the selection and quality of this sweater. It feels cozy and it gets chilly in California, well sometimes. I also have bell bottom jeans from Zara which I finally got into them (too much Christmas food).  

  It was a perfect cool morning to get some brunch and catch up with friends with this outfit. I have big boobs, yes I do, and sometimes big prints might make me look bigger than what I am, but I feel this sweater doesn’t do that, what do you think?!. Orange should be the new black

So it’s a new year, 2018 to be exact! And couldn’t be more ready for it!. I took a break and I’ve missed you so much!

So much to say so little time but I’m back baby!.

 So the first order of business is fall/winter clothes. In some of my past post I’ve talked about how much I love Fall and fall fashion and well today is another opportunity to talk about it. Have to you noticed that Fall/Winter clothes are usually made in darker tones, don’t get me wrong I love black just like any other fashionable and practical girl, but I’m trying to be more adventurous with color and lately it’s been with the orange color and got across this cool cozy sweater and got it for a steal at H&M.

  I’ve read studies that say that color affect ones mood and you what? I agree, as soon as I started wearing it , I felt more confident and enthusiast. So I’m going to keep trying wearing more colorful outfits . And yes I wanted to get a 90’s look which by the way, some people complimented me on, but the style of the sweater and my silver loafers made it look a little bit more updated. Pink on Melrose

It's all about simple cute tops and cool shorts in the California state, and I love it!. It feels like a nice summer so far and It helps when you have colorful art walls that brighten anybody's day. 

  So this outfit must look simple with no effort, and that's right , it didn't take no effort but I feel it works, the California weather always makes for easygoing outfits. I put on my favorite pair of Levi's shorts with my Zara top and my boots. And yes I felt good walking down on Melrose Ave.

Jumpsuits part one

        

Summmer time is a perfect way to dress light, and what better way than to wear jumpsuits, they are light comfortable and can still be sexy and formal if you buy the right jumpsuit.

    I went to the mall to do some "window shopping" and went to this store that have many jumpsuit styles and I don't know if you have noticed but I love the blue striped pattern, so obviously I was immediately drawn to this cute jumpsuit with a tie in the back and little ruffles edges at the bottom. I feel that this pattern looks awesome with some red lipstick don't you think?!. Of course there are many other options and I have more posts with jumpsuit and I promise you won't be bored. It's been a few long week and I've missed you guys! But I'm back with another cute outfit . California weather is here and I'm excited to show you guys what I come out with. So first I did was to take out my platform sandals and start from there. I wanted something comfortable enough and cool enough to walk around town , this skirt from Free People is super comfy and cool and my off the shoulder top from Zara is super cute and feminine with that touch of red  with embroidered flowers.

     I don't know about you guys  but I'm loving the platform sandals that many designers have put out in their collections (Prada, Miu Miu) .

These are some crazy times that we live in, even in fashion , I believe we are in a weird time, now I'm not complaining I'm just making some observations, now as human being I think they are many ways in which we can express ourselves and I feel and believe, fashion is another way to express what we feel or think, and I'm writing all this because I got a jacket that has a message and I got it just for it. Now many of you might not agree with it and that's ok , but for me it's cool way to express myself wthout having to say it out loud. Now they sell fashion that have many great messages , so don't be afraid and try it on. Like the great Madonna says, Express yourself!!, XOXO, The New Frida.

Dress for success

Have you ever wonder what makes a great dress, I believe is confidence. I never felt more confident in a dress than in this dress from Zara, very architectural and yet feminine. I got this dress on sale , and that's when I definitely got to have it. It makes me feel powerful, like I can conquer anything . Off the shoulder

     

There is nothing more American than wearing blue nd beige or camel when it comes to fashion , it's like the Michael Kors of colors, and well I loved them!.

     I also love the fact that off the shoulder top are so in I'm gonna use it to the fullest , so when I wore this I felt so confident without overdoing it. The trousers that I got on a Zara sale was so comfy and even men were complimenting me on it !. The sleeves on my top where also a hit and didn't bother me at all.
